Track & Trace in Fynode is a functionality that allows your customers to monitor the status of their order in real-time via a public webpage. It serves for quick verification of the status, downloading the document, checking the shipment's movements, and providing important information without the need to contact customer support.
- The feature is available in the Track & Trace section.
- The link to the public order is generated by the system and can be sent to the customer in automated emails or as a direct link share (example link:
https://fynode.com/orders/public/{ID}/{TOKEN}).
¶ 2. Content and appearance of the public order
- The customer sees on the page:
- order status (received / processing / shipped / delivered)
- invoice for the order (if available and issued in the active economic system), with an option to download in PDF
- shipment number and a clickable link to track the parcel's movements with the specific courier
- information about payment/unpayment of the order
- list of ordered products, billing and delivery details
- if the courier provider has sent text information (e.g., "Parcel is at the depot"), it will be displayed along with the order
- a button or section for complaints or order cancellation (if this option is enabled in settings)
- The page is multilingual, displayed in the language assigned to the delivery country; the customer can change the language.
- You can embed the public link into email templates via the macro
{order.public_url}.
- The link is unique for each order, containing ID and token to ensure security.
- The page also includes a link to track the shipment in the specific courier's system (if the shipment number and tracking URL are available).
¶ 4. Automation and integration with other modules
- If you use our AI chatbot, when a customer asks about the order status, the AI chatbot can provide the order status, shipment number, and public Track & Trace link (after authorization based on order number and email).
- The public link can be generated in communication (email, individual responses) upon action/order.
- The public status and tracking are synchronized with the connected courier and update according to the latest known shipment movements.

- You save time on customer support; additionally, you can offer complaints, returns, or cancellation requests directly within the interface.
