The global settings section is used to manage basic information and preferences for your account and the entire Fynode system. These settings influence the behavior of the system across all available features.
- Settings are accessible via the gear icon button in the top right corner (header), or directly at https://fynode.com/settings.
- Here, you can make all important changes related to your user account and the functioning of your active eshop.
¶ Localization of the eshop and currency
- You can change the default country and language of the eshop (so-called localization).
- For multilingual eshops, the main localization is the parent, and others are translation variants. Changing the main localization may take up to 30 minutes to take effect – for example, in products.
- You also set the home currency. All statistics and order sums are displayed in this currency (other currencies are automatically converted based on the exchange rate to the home currency).
- Localization settings are also available in some plugins or AI functionalities, where you can set specifics for each language version.
- If you have access to multiple eshops, you can choose which one to work with via the menu in the top right corner. Simply click on the current eshop name, and a list of all available eshops will appear.
- You can also add a new eshop from the same menu using the "New eshop" button.
- You change the user interface language by clicking on the icon of the current country/language in the top right part of the main toolbar.
- After selecting the country/language, the system will automatically redirect to the domain corresponding to the new selection.
¶ Changing login email and password
- In this section, you can change the email and password used for login.
- When changing the email, enter the original and new email.
- When changing the password, enter the current password and the new password.
- Display PDF in browser – Activating this will open PDF documents (orders, invoices) directly in the browser instead of downloading them to your computer.
- Other settings may vary depending on active plugins and integrations (e.g., for AI or search plugins, you can set the language and specific domain, or differentiate settings based on the eshop localization).
Note: Changes in global settings can affect the behavior of all sections and plugins across the entire Fynode system. We recommend checking that everything displays as expected after significant changes.
