Product management in Fynode is designed for quick orientation, efficient catalog organization, and automation of daily work with your assortment. The system supports simple import, bulk edits, and advanced AI workflow options directly from a clear product list.
¶ 1. Basic Navigation and Product List
- You manage all products on this page.
- When activating the eshop, products are automatically imported from the selected e-shop system; import takes a few minutes to tens of minutes depending on catalog size.
- Fynode regularly synchronizes all new changes in products from the eshop throughout the day to keep data up-to-date.
- If needed, you can manually load all products by clicking "Load all products from eshop" – this option is available only when no import is currently running.
¶ 2. Organization: Categories and Localizations
- Above the product list, click „Categories“ – redirects you to detailed category management in the e-shop.
- If you manage multiple eshops under one account, a „Localizations“ button appears – allows pairing products across different language, regional, or domain variants of your eshop.
¶ 3. Product Display and Basic Data
- The product list shows key attributes: name, image, price, stock, EAN, activity status, category/manufacturer assignment, and more.
- Products created/imported from marketplaces are marked with the respective marketplace icon next to the name.
¶ 4. Filtering and Search
- You can filter by category, manufacturer, stock, EAN, filled texts (short/long description, SEO), activity status, marketplace presence, or other attributes.
- Full-text search scans product names and details.
Each product has the following available actions:
- AI task: Launch a selected AI function (generate description, translation, SEO) directly for the product or in bulk for selected products.
- View: Open product details with info on texts, parameters, prices, variants, and related products.
- Marketplaces: Add the product to a specific marketplace or review its status on the marketplace.
- Delete: Remove the product from the Fynode list – if still active in the eshop, it will be re-imported after synchronization.
- Select multiple products in the list and choose a bulk action:
- Launch bulk AI task (generation, translation)
- Bulk delete products from the list
For AI tasks, select the specific type of generation (e.g., based on product info, EAN, etc.) and specify input data for AI. You can further edit the results.
- System AI functions available for products:
- Generate name, short or long description, SEO title or description, parameters based on EAN or detailed info.
- Translate texts into any active language in the e-shop.
- Set or choose which field to generate/translate.
- These functions can be used directly from the product or in bulk via workflow in the list.
¶ 8. Working with Localizations and Multistore
- If you have multiple eshops in different languages or regions, you can pair products by product number or EAN, synchronize stock levels, merge catalogs, and centrally process products under one account.
- Localization settings enable translations, pairing, stock updates, and centralized reporting.
- For large changes, always test import or bulk AI actions on a small sample first.
- Export the catalog before mass edits for easy rollback if needed.
- For expansion into new markets, prepare the main product localization with optimized descriptions first, then run AI translation into other languages.
