Storage in Fynode is a central place for managing files, attachments, and exports related to your e-shop. It allows you to store, organize, and manage your own documents, AI work files, order attachments, invoices, and exports, or AI workflow materials. Efficient storage management increases your team's productivity and saves time when working with files.

- You will see a list of all files you have uploaded, including system files automatically created by the system.
¶ 2. Uploading and File Types
- Files can be uploaded:
- directly from your computer (drag&drop or select via dialog)
- by entering a URL for download
- Allowed formats: pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, xml, csv, txt
- Maximum size for a single file is 10 MB
- Each file must have a unique name and can be assigned to a category. If the category does not exist, you can create your own.
¶ 3. Organization and Categories
- When uploading or editing a file, you can select an existing category or create a new one – enter a name and color for the category.
- You can filter the list by name/subfield or category.
- System files cannot be edited or deleted (e.g., exports from AI tasks, document archives by Export system).
- Each file offers these actions:
- Download – download the file to your PC.
- Edit – replace the existing file with a new one (you can upload a new version of the same document).
- Delete – remove the file from storage (only applicable for non-system files).
- When editing a file, a drag&drop area for uploading a new version is displayed.
- Files from storage can be used as attachments for:
- AI functions and workflows (e.g., generating descriptions from source text, complex Excel processing, JSON and XML files)
- AI chatbot to expand knowledge base and responses
- Attachments to exports, orders, complaints, etc.
- When selecting files in AI functions/chatbots, you choose whether AI performs basic or complex processing:
- Basic processing: AI selects important parts of the file, lower cost (best for text files).
- Complex processing: AI processes the entire file, higher cost (recommended for Excel, JSON, XML, and complex data).
- Storing materials for AI-generated bulk descriptions, SEO, or translations.
- Archiving manuals, instructions, contracts, support for complaints and invoicing.
- Export storage from orders, financial reports, AI tasks, or external reports.
- Attachments to orders, complaints, or for bulk workflows in the e-shop.
¶ 7. Protection and Restrictions
- System files cannot be modified or deleted – they are important for reporting and audit processes.
- Changing or deleting a file in storage is only possible for your own files uploaded by you or your team.
- Unsupported formats/functions will be rejected during upload attempts.
