The Employees section in Fynode allows you to assign additional users to the system, set their individual access rights and permissions, and efficiently manage team collaboration when handling your e-shop. Each employee has their own account, which can be easily created, edited, and deleted.
- You can find the section at this page.
- A list of all existing users/employees will be displayed, with options to edit or delete them.
- Click the "New employee" button.
- Fill in the employee's name/title and email.
- After clicking "Verify", the system will check if the email is already registered in Fynode.
- If the email is not registered, a generated password for the new account will be displayed – this password needs to be sent to the future employee (they can change it after logging in in the settings).
- If the email already exists, the employee will simply be assigned, and there is no need to create a new account or set a password.
- Set specific permissions/access rights (access to orders, products, e-shop settings, and other sections according to your needs).
- Click "Save" at the bottom of the form.
- For the employee you want to delete, click the "trash" icon.
- The employee will lose access to the e-shop management, but their activities will remain logged for audit purposes.
¶ 4. Setting and changing employee passwords
- New employees will receive their first access password after being added – they can then change their password in the Settings section.
- If you need to change an existing employee's password (for security or other reasons), it is recommended to do so through their own profile.
¶ 5. Setting roles and permissions
- When creating or editing an employee, you can specify in detail which sections they have access to:
- Products
- Orders
- E-shop settings
- Exports, warehouse, claims, customers, emails, etc.
- Permissions can be changed at any time depending on team development or required competencies.
¶ 6. Best practices and tips
- Assign access rights only where employees truly need them, increasing security.
- When ending cooperation, always remove or delete the rights of the former employee.
- For multiple administrators or large teams, use detailed role segmentation (e.g., warehouse worker, marketer, accountant, admin).
- Monitor logs – every employee's actions are logged (changes in orders, products, claims).
The employee management in Fynode is designed to enable you to securely, flexibly, and simply manage all internal and external collaborators. Effective control over permissions and access significantly enhances security and the smooth operation of your e-shop.
