¶ Shipment Management, Labels, and Exports
In this guide, you will learn how to easily manage shipments in Fynode, work with labels for Couriers, and utilize export options for logistics partners or warehouses.
- After receiving an order, you can create a shipment directly from the order list or in the order detail for the selected Courier.
- The system automatically pre-fills data (address, contact, weight, cash on delivery, note) based on the order information.
- For multiple packages, simply enter the quantity/dimensions according to the Courier API options; if the Courier supports additional services, select them from the list.
¶ 2. Generating and Printing Labels
- You can generate a label for the Courier by clicking Create Shipment – Fynode will send data to the API and generate a PDF label ready for printing.
- In most cases, any laser/thermal printer and standard paper size are sufficient, according to the Courier's settings.
- All generated labels are stored in the archive within the order (accessible for download at any time, up to 7 days back).
- For multi-package shipments (if supported by the Courier), the system will generate multiple individual labels.
- In the orders or shipments section, you can select multiple orders and bulk create shipments for the chosen Courier.
- The system automatically recognizes all set parameters (country, dimensions, services) and generates:
- a bulk PDF of all labels for export
- optionally, a CSV/Excel report structured according to warehouse or Courier requirements
- Exported documents can be used for record-keeping, logistics centers, or external Couriers.
¶ 4. Tracking Shipment Status and Tracking Numbers
- Each created shipment is assigned a tracking number (if supported by the Courier) and is available in the order detail and in the summary table of shipments.
- The tracking link can be shared with the customer via notification email or in the customer account interface.
- Fynode regularly updates the shipment status (delivered, returned, in transit, etc.) – the order status updates automatically when the API of the specific Courier supports it.
¶ 5. Optimizing Labels and Exports
- For large volumes of shipments, use the bulk label export and sort shipments by Courier, country, or dispatch method.
- When verifying or claiming packages, you can quickly find labels by package number, contact, or dispatch period.
¶ 6. Frequently Asked Questions and Recommendations
- Failed to generate a label? Check all required fields (address, contact, dimensions) and the validity of the API login for the Courier.
- Want to export only some shipments? Use filters and bulk selection based on order status, country, date, or Courier.
- Want to resend a label to the warehouse worker? Simply download the label again from the archive in the order detail.
- Issue with shipment status synchronization? Check the connection to the Courier API, the correctness of the tracking number, and the automatic update settings.
Thanks to centralized shipment and label management in Fynode, you will significantly speed up dispatch, eliminate package mix-ups, and streamline processes from order creation to handover to the courier.
