Mollie is a global payment gateway supporting online payments in multiple currencies and countries. Integrating Mollie in Fynode allows for accepting online payments, automated matching of payments with orders, and easy management via API.
- In the Bank section, click on the Mollie icon.
- Enter the API key – you will obtain it after activation in the Mollie administration.
- Paste the generated API key into the appropriate field.
- Click the Save button.
- The system will attempt to connect to the payment gateway. Upon successful verification, Mollie will appear among the active payment gateways. If the connection fails or the key is incorrect, the connection will not activate and an error message will be displayed.
- After activation, the user can modify the API key at any time via the “Edit” option in the payment gateways interface.
- In the “Payment Gateway Settings” tab, it is possible to specify the method of payment matching – by order number or ID.
- Selecting the reference field ensures correct matching of the payment from Mollie to the order in the Fynode system.
¶ Matching and payment workflow
- After receiving a payment via Mollie, the system automatically matches the payment to the correct order, marks the order as “paid,” and can trigger further workflows (e.g., shipping, invoicing).
- Order reference settings allow coordination between multiple systems. When data is changed or updated, these details can be easily refreshed in the Fynode interface.
- Keep the API key secure and never share it with third parties.
- When changing the API key in Mollie, it is necessary to update it in Fynode as well.
