Connecting the AI mailer to your mailbox enables automatic loading of new messages and processing through artificial intelligence. The AI mailer can respond to customer emails immediately or prepare responses for approval.
Before you start, prepare:
- Email address and password for the mailbox
- Details for SMTP (sending) and IMAP (receiving) server:
- Host and port for SMTP
- Host and port for IMAP
- Security type for SMTP (TLS or SSL)
- Name of the folder for sent messages (e.g. Sent) – optional
- In the Fynode admin panel, go to the AI mailer → Message sources.
- Click the Email icon.
- Fill in the following fields:
- Email – your email address.
- Email password – mailbox password (if you use two-factor authentication, a special app password may be required).
- SMTP host – e.g.
smtp.domain.com
- SMTP security connection – choose TLS or SSL.
- SMTP port – according to the security type (often 465 for SSL or 587 for TLS).
- IMAP host – e.g.
imap.domain.com
- IMAP port – according to the provider (often 993 for SSL).
- Click Save.
- The system will test the connection to IMAP and SMTP. If successful, a confirmation message will appear and the connection will be activated.
After a successful connection, additional settings appear:
- Name of the folder for sent messages in the mailbox – allows saving a copy of the AI mailer’s responses directly to the chosen folder.
- Automatically send AI reply (without approval) – if enabled, responses are sent to customers immediately.
If disabled, the AI reply will appear in the admin panel for manual approval.
- If the eshop has multiple language variants, you can add multiple profiles for Email.
- Each profile can have its own login credentials and be assigned to a specific localization.
- This allows the AI mailer to respond in the correct language based on the email address used.

Tip: For smooth operation, we recommend using a separate email address dedicated to customer support, so the AI mailer does not process internal communications or personal messages
