AI functions are the foundation of all intelligent automation in Fynode. They allow you to easily generate new descriptions, translate texts, optimize SEO, set up workflows, and perform other AI tasks according to your needs. Below you will find an overview of common system AI functions, how to set them up, and detailed customization options.

- The list includes available system AI functions (for example, “Generate product name based on EAN,” “Translate text based on selected language”), but you can also create your own AI functions as needed.

¶ 3. Managing and editing functions
- You can “Try” each AI function (opens a window to input data and simulate AI execution), “Edit” (opens detailed settings), or “Delete” (remove the function; system functions cannot be deleted).
- The current AI credits balance is always visible above the list, along with a button to top up credits.
When creating or editing a function, you have these options:
- Name: Unique name (immutable for system functions)
- Description: What the function does (immutable for system functions)
- Maximum number of tokens for output: Determines the scope of the result (affects capacity, conciseness, and price)
- Instructions: Additional instructions for AI, such as specific style, terminology, or rules (e.g., “when translating to EN, do not use the word 'membership', use 'subscription'”)
- Model: Choose the processing AI model (gpt-41 – most powerful, gpt-41-mini – versatile, gpt-41-nano – economical)
- Personality: Set the tone of responses (creative, formal, technical, etc.)
- Add-ons: Select AI add-ons to be used with the function (e.g., AI search, AI similar products)
- Attachments from storage: Attach files (e.g., text or Excel files) and specify processing type (basic/complex)
- Save: Save the function after making changes
¶ 5. Running and testing AI functions
- For each function, you can click “Try”: a window appears to input data, set output estimation method (“maximum number of tokens” or “same number of tokens as input”), and pre-calculate and estimate the output cost.
- After running the function, AI is invoked, and you will see the output along with the final price in AI credits deducted.
- The function creates so-called AI tasks: each run (individual or bulk) is recorded as a task, accessible in the AI tasks section.
- For product/category, trigger functions via buttons like “Generate via AI” or “Translate via AI”; you can also run AI functions in bulk for selected products/categories.
- You can always edit, validate, or discard the AI output before saving it to the eshop. Translate, validate, and confirm saving if satisfied.
- Use bulk tasks for quick generation of texts, SEO, or translations.
- For specific requirements, carefully set instructions and AI personality.
- Test functions on sample products before larger workflows.
- Monitor credit consumption; the final estimated cost of each function is always clearly displayed.
